'The Posers'

I decided to put up something a bit different from my usual work! I just bought my first digital SLR because I want to get back into photography. I learnt traditional photography years ago but have pretty much forgotten everything I know and hadn't used a digital SLR before, so this is me testing it out and playing around with it.
These two adorable little creatures are my beloved pet green-cheeked conures, Baby Bear (left) and Mouse (right). I love this picture - it looks like Mouse has just told a really bad joke and Baby's laughing her head off. Anyway, I wanted to share because I put this pic on facebook and people went nuts over it! I got so many lovely comments about how happy it made people, which felt really, really good! It made me happy that my two little comedians brought other people some happiness and made them feel good
